Had a great morning for Virginia's Youth Day. My son connected on a nice one at 6:50 this morning.
20 pounds 4 ounces
10 1/4 inch beard
7/8 inch spurs
We had some company when we got there just before daylight. Four bears were feeding in the cornfield with the closest about 75 yards away. We scared them out of the field and got settled in with birds gobbling all around us. We had three longbeards come in from the left and circled in front of us and Jack made a nice shot at the biggest of the three at 15 yards.
