Here's a pic of my Box and Paddle calls by Lamar Williams.
The box is Walnut over Mahogany with Walnut base and single row Old Hen checkering.
The Paddle call is American Red Cedar over Butternut.

Great memories from those conventions!
Yep. Builds a fine call and ALWAYS a pleasant feller to talk to on the phone.
You have something there that will continue to be at the top of the custom call list for a long long time. Mr. Williams is first notch on a long line of call makers!
Those are really nice. I was a freshman in college in Charleston, SC in 1992. I went with my parents to the Southeastern Sportsman Exposition and there was a man selling box calls so they bought me one since it was Parents weekend at The Citadel. I had no idea until 2000 that I had met, played several calls and bought a Lamar Williams.
I put it up and no longer carry it to the woods. It sounds awesome!!!
You can't go worng with those two fine calls from Lamar!
Thanks for the comments, guys. :thanks:
I plan to use both calls this weekend and hope to take a big Tom with them! :fud: :newmascot:
Like the sound they make so well, I ordered two more from Lamar that are due in 2014.
They both produce a very powerful sound! :z-winnersmiley:
