We had our Learn To Hunt this past weekend. We took 15 newbies out hunting, most of them kids and 6 of them harvested birds. Two others missed, well one missed the live turkeys, but did blow the head off their full strut decoy, so she did kill something!lol Hunting was tough as the birds just began breaking up, and lots of snow on the ground yet, but we managed to kill a nice 2 year old on the second morning. I was hunting with Curtis Goettsch of Mossy Oak & Woodhaven Custom Calls, and we got it all on film. Will post a link when editing is done. Samantha the little girl we took was a trooper and hunted hard. The first day she hunted just about all day, not hearing a gobble and only seeing 3 hens. She got rewarded the next morning. Great start to the season.
Congrats on the bird and it was nice to meet you, Travis is a fine young callmaker and that wenge aluminum was awesome that I purchased, good luck to you this spring and hope to see you next year. Scoot
Congrats to you all & Samantha. How old is she. She looks as happy as one could be. I cant wait to take my little girls out with me someday......
