Title: Ready To Go!
Post by: strut2 on April 03, 2013, 07:27:46 PM
Leave Friday for Okalhoma, Kansas, Nebraska and then head back to PA for youth season hunt. Extremely excited I haven't had the opportunity to hunt Okalhoma or Kansas yet. Was wondering how the birds are gobbling around Black Kettle, Okalhoma. Good luck to everyone!

I'm a bit east of black kettle and birds have been gobbling hard the last week or so.  They were still bunched up until a few days ago in my areas. We are finally getting rain and its been coming down for over two days straight.  It's supposed to clear in time for an awesome opening day on April 6. Wish you the best of luck!

I'm even further east and the birds are gobbling on the roost only and still bunched up. They're running a bit late this year with the cooler weather in late March/early April.
