Title: Accu- Mag Choke internal sizes.
Post by: Lensbenz on April 03, 2013, 02:18:01 PM
Maybe I am missing something, but I just noticed my Mossy chokes seem a bit odd. The one marked Full is tighter than the X-Full. I miked the IDs at the closed side and see:
Mod/Ic is .775
Full is .715
X-Full is .745

Are these marked wrong or am I mistaken about the X-Full should be tighter than the Full?
Hope someone knows this. ???

My Ulti-Full's have both been .695 (835 and 935). Are you sure that the X-full isn't a steel choke marked XF Steel?

Yes it says X Full T&F Steel. The other one says Full 2&BB Steel and All Lead.
I Bought a TruGlo Turkey that is .695 like the Ulti-Full.

The .715 will be your regular full choke then. The .745 is XF for steel shot - probably in the Modified area for lead.

Ok I get it. The size is considered Xfull for steel only but is considered Mod for lead. Hope I dont need to use it much anyway. Rather get the opportunity to use the Turkey now and fall..
Thanks

That would be correct!
