Visited the in-laws a while yesterday. Walked in the door and paw-in-law says, "I got something to show you" Pulled out his camera and had a 1/2 dozen pics of 10 hens and 2 MATURE strutters in his front yard. :anim_65: They live on a 17 acre piece of ground surrounded by woods. He said he had seen them several times in the last couple of weeks in the back pasture but 1st time in the front close enough for pics. These were 2 BIG,MATURE toms. Come on the 26th!!
BTW, maw-in-law has a feather phobia... she said "KILL EM ALL" Told her I couldn't do that but i'll put 2 on the hit list...just for her :laugh:If he emails me the pics I'll post em up.

Never heard of feather phobia but bless her for having it. Most MIL's would say dont shoot my pets. Best of luck on getting the brownie points with the MIL!

Did a little scouting of the in-laws Saturday and these ol' boys are still hanging out with the chicks :you_rock: If they continue to hang close for a couple more weeks... heads will get smashed :z-guntootsmiley:
Oh yeah... got permission from the neighbors on each side of the inlaws to infiltrate their land.... so my acreage just went from 17 to 112 :jackson: on this little slice of heaven on earth
