Title: Carlson .660/Remington 870 26" barrel any experience?
Post by: ouachitamtnman on March 31, 2013, 09:54:48 AM
About to get an 870.  Have heard great things about the 870/Jelly Head combo.  I've also heard really good things about Carlsons and at half the price, I'd like to hear y'alls experience.

Thanks

I shot a Carlson's .650 in a Nova at one time with Win Sup HV Lead, and it threw a good pattern, but shot low.  Now people are saying that the skinny-bore Italian guns are known for such as that.

I have been impressed with Carlson chokes in IM, Full, and XFull in my INV+ BPS and my 870.

I have 3 870's and all three pattern excellent with the jellyhead and lead or HTL.
