I've got a 20ga Upland Special BPS.
If I wanted to shoot the Fed HW #7's that I've been reading a lot about, what choke should I go with.
Would I expect that choke to do well with Hevi-Shot in a #6...I understand that patterning it would be the only true way to find out.
I'm guessing that the IC chokes are out of the question with the Flight Control wads?
The Sumtoy choke in the 562-5 is excellent for that gun. It has been tested and also works well with other Fed FC lead shells.I particularly like that in the #7s . One choke with several applications.
Good on the Hevi-13 #6s as well.

I have the SumToy 562-5 in my Remington 20 and it shoots Fed HWT and Hevi in both 6's and 7's extremely well. It also shoots Winchester Supreme 5's great.

What length barrel and how "extremely well" does it pattern the HW 7's at 40 yards?? Thanks.
My 870 is putting on average in the 10" at 40:
Hevi 7's - 170
HWT 7's - 165
Hevi 6's - 135 (I hunt with this load)
HWT 6's - 122
I hunt the Hevi 6's because the pattern is so even and so repeatable. The 7's are splotchy in my combo even though the pellet counts are higher.

BARREL LENGTH????
21" barrel on a youth model 870 Express Magnum. Barrel has been deep cleaned and with the SumToy shoots to POA with both the Hevi and HWT loads. Sights are the factory double bead (mid silver and ivory front).
