While walking through the woods this weekend I thought it would be a good idea to have a clip on the bill of my hat to place a mouth call or two on when not using it. By being on the under side of a hat bill it would be easy to get to when needed.
So, has anyone ever tried this? If so, what did you use? I'm thinking of a paper clip or one of this fish hook clips painted black. Who knows maybe this is the next big idea to turkey hunters?
Use one of those plastic coated paperclips, or a binder clip. I think there even may be plastic paperclips.
Its already being made.

I've got a hat from HS Strut that has a mesh "net" on the out side of the bill to hold about two calls. I've never used it but is there.
I have one of the plastic clips that I use to hold my favorite call. They work great and I also have a hat that has some mesh on the bill to stick your mouth calls it works too. I also have another hat, I dont know who made it that has several small pockets on the outside to hold calls it works great too. As you can tell I have no problem collecting "turkey gadgets"!!!!
