I think everyone should email federal and commend them on their turkey thug load and how well you like it, I think enough voices will encourage them to produce a line not restricted to Walmart. In my letter I also expressed the need for a 2-1/4 oz 10 gauge load in 5 and 6 in a conventional wad. I know most of you have no use for a 10 gauge line but I would love to see it!
Great idea, but I get the feeling that they are enamoured with flite control wad
can't hurt nothing to try it

But WHY what kind of testing are they doing that they think its a good idea at all???
I personally think its a great idea, I love the fcw but I wish they would produce both loads. Heck I can get 130s out of the3" #5 lead iI shshould be pushing for the fcw

I think they test pattern performance in a calm, windless environment. most likely ,
fcw works to some extent. I found that the hot center kept moving around in a somewhat random way. might be 2-3 inches off center in any direction at 40 yrds.
Personally, I think the wind pushes the undeployed wadding slightly off center and when it does deploy the shot, it could be up, down. side or side.
archdriver, nice avatar. :icon_thumright:
I think it's a great idea to email a company and let them know that you love their product. Can't hurt for sure. Too many times I think we take it for granted that the company "Knows" they have a great product, and we fail to show them our appreciation.
Each to their own, but I love the FCW, as my gun loves it. It works is all I'll say.
No offense, but to hell with the FCW.
