Title: Hevi #7's choke question
Post by: troutfisher13111 on March 22, 2013, 06:51:00 PM
I am gonna try some hevi13 #7's. What Choke should I try? I was thinking about the Hevi brand one they offer or the jelly head. I shoot a Rem 870 supermag 12ga, although I am gonna try 3" shells instead of 3-1/2". Thanks.

With the 7s either of those chokes should do a good job for you.

My Dads 870 likes 6s through the HeviShot choke best.

Here's the one I would bet on to shoot the best.

All 3 of my 870 really like the jelly head .660. They also shoot good with the I.C BDS .665 but not as good as the jelly head.

There are several choices that will do well with that shell in your gun but I think you'd do just fine with the Hev-13 choke.

Thanks,
