Title: Hittin' the road...
Post by: Steve on March 21, 2013, 09:55:06 PM
The calls that is...Boxing these two up and sending them on their way tomorrow to a good customer here in PA. He doesn't have one of every call I make yet, but he's sure getting close.

North Bay Rogue 3.5" bead blasted glass over glass set in cocobolo w/ sapwood and matching striker.

And one of my favorites a North Bay Epic 3.5" Ceramic over glass set in some nicely figured bocote w/ matching striker.

Thanks guys...the jury is still out if it's Killer timber. But the guy these calls are being sent to has killed his share of turkeys with my calls already. I have no doubt these will produce for him as well.

Captin_hook...I'm up in Northwest PA 10 minutes from the shores of Lake Erie. My wife has some family down in your neck of the woods...southwest PA correct?

Ahh...my wifes relatives are in Fayette County. I send calls down to her father and he sells them at his work place for me. He just started doing that and has sold a few already.

I've hunted down that way once or twice in the past too.

I definitely want to get a call off you eventually. I've been buying a new call about every other week. I gotta slow it down or my wife is going to kill me. Maybe I could meet up with the in law in the future when you send him a batch. I'm not far from fayette and I got a couple friends that would be interested in checking them out as well.

Sounds good...I think he sold everything from the last batch I sent to him. I'll let you know when I send some more down or when I come down that way for a visit. And I won't let your wife know either :toothy9:

It sounded pretty darn good too. I have 5 blanks left out of that wood one of them will be ceramic, maybe some crystal and perhaps a slate or two who knows, keep your eyes in the classifieds. ;)
