Title: Need help with 835 sights
Post by: cjordan on March 17, 2013, 06:23:37 PM
Hey guys and gals. I would like to find a good set of adjustable sights for a Mossy 835. I have looked around on here some, and seen the truglo magnum gobble dot and a Williams it think? I was going to see if I could get some recommendations? As of now the gun just has the two beads on it. Thanks for your help.

Whichever you pick make sure they are all metal construction. The plastic slip on kind don't seem to last and aren't as adjustable as the rifle type metal ones. Or get a fast fire 3 or mueller quick shot red dot.

I just installed the truglo magnum gobble dot pro series on a mossberg bantam. They are bright, easy to install and adjustable, about $50 online. The front bead seemed a little small but other than that no complaints.

I have the Tru Glo magnum gobble stopper sights on a 10 ga. BPS and like them very much.   I have not tried any other brands but these seem to stay put and are very robust ...I put a little blue loctite on the threads when I installed.

I have a 24" turkey 835 and don't like that the factory sights can move around a bit (rear one) anyway.

This is the one on my OL 835.. It works well. My front bead is magnetic. The rear screws to the rib.
