It sure is hard to wait on this gobbler with 3 others gobbling a few hundred yards away. The bird I'm hunting has about 7 hens so he isn't gobbling. I have pics of them coming to a field every day like clockwork. I keep telling myself to be patient.... I hope this goes as planned.
Good luck to ya! It'd be hard to do it but sometimes you just have to put trust in your decision. Most times patience pays off
That's why they call it hunting. 2 jakes and 3 hens. Ol' Tom had different plans this morning.
Good luck. Patience usually pays off......
How'd today go?
I stuck it out and it finally paid off. He was only a 2yr old but you would never guessed it by his composure and quietness. However his drumming gave him away. 8 1/2" beard 3/4" spurs. 40 yards and he dropped like a brick. To god be the glory for such a beautiful bird. Now looking for his "granddaddy".
Congratulations
Congrats on the bird. Patience pays off........
congrats patience is a great call
