After talking with Ricky Jo Bishop the other day and his not having any problem with me making these, I decided to make one a little bit different then the first one. This one is glass/plexi glass. The pot is wormy chestnut. The dome is mounted flush with the bottom of the pot so you can set it down with out worrying about denting it on a flat surface. The soundboard is mounted to the dome. Gonna make another persimmon striker for her.

Pappy if you get to making more of these I'd like to hear a sound file or maybe VA would grace us with one.

I'm very intrigued by these dome calls! They look great too

Im interested in that dome call too...got any videos on using it . Its very cool looking. How much does a call like that run? Got one of your china-berrys over alum. love it; taking it to the timber tomorrow and letting her call out.  :OGturkeyhead:

Haven't got them down pat yet, they sound good, but i want to try crystal over glass before I sell any. Trying to get the pot design like I want it too, this one is very close to what i think will be a contender. Going to try an Osage pot next or a China Berry one. Also thinking about changing the pedestal too, gonna try using dowels to mount it to over the aluminum can bottom. May be too much echo, don't know yet, but i won't know if I don't try it. Gotta say the two best strikers I have so far are the osage and the persimmon.
