Guys i just picked up a sharp little Remington today with a 26" barrel and a tightwad choke along with 2 boxes of federal heavyweight #7 what can i expect out of this setup?
A turkey killing machine. You should have no problem killing birds out to 40 with that setup.
I have same gun, shells, and choke. The tightwad did 131 in 10. My hs undertaker did just a few pellets more than the tightwad and both were shot with factory bead and an unpolished barrel.
I have same gun and choke shooting mag blends. Gun is solid out to 35yards. It really dropped off at 40. I have not tried fed hw 7's yet
Polish that barrel! It made a pretty big difference on both my 870 20's.
