Black hills is one of the nicest places I have hunted so far. I would go there year after year.. I hunted in hill city area. Great place to go im sure you will love it. We hunted all national forest and we put the miles on looking for the birds just because we were hunting new areas due to timbered tree where we hunted years prior. There are a lot of birds best of luck. If there is anything I can help you with pm me. I'd be glad to help anyway I can. Best of luck!
