Title: A couple killers from Mr. Buice
Post by: drenalinld on March 07, 2013, 09:17:33 AM
A friend was able to spend a little time in Mr. Billy's shop and hand selected this highly figured Olivewood trumpet for me. I talked with Mr. Billy and selected a few mouthpieces and this Walnut/Cedar scratch box with Osage/Slate striker. These are very pretty but more importantly full of turkey.

David, I volunteer to field test that trumpet so you won't have to go thru the trouble.

I bought my first Buice trumpet in 1984 for 25.00. It was a little step up from the Penswoods walnut I had been using....lol. Mr Billy and his trumpets are first class.
