Well, I was blessed by a great person and now have a Burris FF II. I did a review of it just like I did the Mueller, so check it out. I didn't get to shoot it, just the bead, as a friend picked up the mount for me today, I didn't get it until tonight. But here is the Rem 870 Compact, ready to hunt. Will get it lined in and then keep practicing with my son. I think the FF II will help him from shooting high. He is picking his head up to see where the shot goes, this way it doesn't matter.
This is NOT my gun, it is borrowed, which is why it is not drilled and tapped.

That's the same type of setup I would like for Harrison.
Ray that looks really familiar LOL I actually prefer a saddle mount, if your red dot dies you can look under the mount and see your bead.. Plus I have pulled mine off numerous times to clean the action and have yet to have it effect POI.
