Title: Swift 1.5-4.5x32???
Post by: jordanz7935 on March 06, 2013, 06:34:49 PM
hey guys i plan on putting this scope on my 20 ga 870.Anybody have any experience with swift scopes? I bought it used quite a while back and put it on my muzzleloader. I put a 3-9 on the muzzleloader 3 years ago so its been sittin in the gun cabinent ever since. The swift has the circle reticle so i think it should make a good turkey scope.Any input will be appreciated.

I haven't done it yet, but I have the same scope and it will be going on my 835 this season. :icon_thumright:

I don't know much about Swift but I've never heard anything bad about them.  I would imagine you'll be just fine with that on a turkey rig.  I wouldn't hesitate to use it.  Sounds like the reticle would work out great.

I bought a Swift 3x9x40 for my deer rifle around 20 years ago. I decided I "needed" a new scope for the rifle so I put it on my muzzleloader. It has been flawless. I liked it so much I bought another Swift for my son about 5 years ago. If they are all as good as mine you will be pleased.

I just bought a Bushnell XLT turkey scope. Love it.
