Still kinda new at this turkey call making, but when you have a great teacher it makes it easier, and I have one.
I am hoping 1 of these new calls I made this year, will be the 1st one to call a bird in close enough to fill his head with Hevi Shot.
These are the 7th, 8th and 9th pot calls I have made. One is made for my brother Rob, it is curly maple, slate over glass.
I also made a aluminum over glass maple burl.
And the 3rd call is Claro Walnut burl, ceramic over glass.

Good looking calls. Especially since you haven't even made ten yet. How do they sound?
Look good!!
Calling one in with a call you made is the best feeling there is in the turkey woods.
Good luck to you and post some pictures. The pots look great.
If they sound HALF as good as they look, you wont have any problems filling some heads with HS
:icon_thumright: Nice looking calls, good job!!!
Good looking calls, hope you tag out with them !!
Thanks for your comments. If I get some time I will try and post some sound files of these calls.
I am taking my daughter on a youth hunt next weekend, So I will find out if they sound as good as I think they do.
