Title: Mossberg and magblends.
Post by: chrmayo on March 01, 2013, 08:00:05 PM
Has anyone had any luck with magblends in a 935 or 835? If so what choke did they like?

My 20" barrel 835 did 209 with a Pure Gold and mid 220's with the Jellyhead.  That is with the 3.5".

So they like a more open choke I guess. I have a 695 rhino on the way and I thought I'd give the magblends a shot b4 nitros.

My 24" bbl'd 835 put up over 300/10" with the 3.5" magblends last year through a Truglo .670 SSX.

Mossberg and Mag Blend is like Peanutbutter n' Jelly.
It's that good  ;D

835 24" pipe w/3.5" M.B
Jelly Head 690 does well.
No numbers, good killing pattern.

Buddies 26" barreled 935 with mad max .695 choke.  288 in the circle.

That's amazing my friend.  Simply mind boggling as the narrator once said on TV that was talking about Herb Parsons before showing an old video of him shooting.  He wasn't lying.

I use the hevi13 choke in my 20 inch 835 and get a real nice even pattern. I think it is in the 220 to 240 range.
