Looking for opinions on this call, good or bad, pros or cons. Thanks
Not a bad call, I used one for several years and the turkey's here in Southern Illinois seem to like it. ;D
I've never owned one. I've only ran one in the isle of cabelas. For a production call, it sounded good. You could definitely kill with it. Keep your eyes open in the call classifieds here. Plenty of good pot call makers on this site.
I think that was the second turkey call I ever purchased, sounds good and will call a bird just fine.
Now I have a Halloran Twisted Sister with one piece purpleheart striker for my crystal call, now thats a heck of a call but will cost you 3X as much
In my opinion, for whats that is worth, I think that it is the best pot that Primos has made to date. They will absolutely call up a longbeard!!!
I had one and was happy with it as a production call.....but on day it just sorta went flat. Not sure why, it was not mistreated etc. it just died!!
Since it's my call with Primos name on it I should explain. They have switched methods of building the call and they don't have the sound the older ones had. I asked what happened and was told they are happy with the way it sounds now. It's obvious by changing the sound the sales are down. Knight and Hale did the same thing with my Ol' Yeller Sla-tek. They changed the sound and now it's history. All those calls in the Black Pots I know are good....... might find one on ebay?
The older ones sound alot better got one i keep in my vest its the first call i ever bought and killed alot of birds with it.
I bought a newer one and don't like it.
