Title: mueller quick sight
Post by: rrhunter on February 25, 2013, 07:57:37 PM
Pulled the trigger on one yesterday. I have to get my 870 drilled and tapped, what style base does the quick shot use?

If you go with a Picatinny rail, most anything will fit it.

This^^^^^^
It's a good sight, well built and rugged. It just sat a little too high for my liking.

I like mine, but yes it does sit up a little.  I like that because I shoot with glasses on and having my head up a little helps me see through the center of the lens more than when I have my head down on the stock and I'm left looking through the upper corner, and then only if they are pushed way back on my face.  Get a comb kit of put some pipe insulation on the comb.  Not so much for recoil as just a surface to contact with your face for reference.
