I'm hearing some good things on sumtoy chokes lately. I shoot a 26" 870 sm and hevi 7s. I currently shoot a jellyhead 660 out of it. With that combo will the patterns get any better with a sumtoy? Thanks
There's no way to answer your question. Choke tubes and barrels are very interesting the way they work. What shoots great in one, may not shoot great in another. But I will say this about good chokes. Most of the time % wise a good barrel, choke and load are going to shoot pretty good.
Depends on what you're getting with the JH. Most 870's like the jellyhead but not all. I would say if you are getting 275 in the 10 with a 3 1/2 hevi 7 it won't get a lot better with a sumtoy. Pm William at sumtoy and see what he thinks. They make good stuff.

Yep what he said, You can throw away a lot of money trying to improve what's already good, {Now if only i would listen to my own advice}
What kind of numbers you get with the set up you have. If I can help I will but will not lye to sale you a choke. I will be the 1st to say that the JH in the Remington's is a good pair.

That is a stand up man there. You won't find a lot of companies out there with that kind of honesty. I can't wait for my Sumtoy to arrive this week. Excited to see some numbers out of the little 20.

I would have saved a bunch of money if I would have stopped at 150 at 40.
