Does anyone use the cantilever mounts? A friend is considering getting one of these instead of getting his 870 drilled and tapped.
Just put the B - square universal cantilever mount on Rem spr 453,put a tube type red dot on it. I had a chance to shoot it once and it worked fine. On that mount you can still see the bead under the mount, but you need to raise your comb to see thru the red dot and still keep your cheek on the stock.Put about 10 3" shells thru it and everything stayed tight.
