mountainman62 gave me a hunk of osage fence post at the Nationals, we were hoping to see green...but it just wasn't there. But I am still going to make him a couple callers from it, here is the first,a flared tube caller. She has a lot of character and sings turkey like a champ, hope you'll like it Jeff.
It may not be green but that wood sure does have a some good looking grain to it. :icon_thumright:

Awesome tube Pappy
dang Pappy, that sure looks nice coming from that chunk of fence post, looks a little different, i can see the gobblers chasing me down, guess i will have to keep my back to the tree, great looking call, i'll have to be on the lookout for some in some mud, (i know where some has been in the ground since 76 but Daddy won't let me take up his fence posts, couple are in some drains), love the flare on the end
That is gorgeous Pappy
Beautiful call Jack
