Does anyone have 1. A wood 1. Mine chipped when it was being tapped for the stud. I'd really like to keep it wood, since this was a gift from my grandfather

Looks repairable from here. Wood filler and a little bit of stain. You may want to put the stud a bit further back. You also may be able to find a forearm at Numrich Arms Co. AKA Gun Parts Corp.

There is a whole section dedicated to H and R's on Greybeards.I posted a stock and forend and it sold in a day.There are several right nw I would guess.

It's not near perfect but I fixed it and the sling hides it
