Has anyone tried the nitros with the factory turkey choke? If so how did it do?
Yes.
I helped a buddy get set-up last year for his first season and he bought an 835. He was shooting the factory choke with Winchester #4's and the patterns were - well not good. I had a few extra Nitro Blends so I got him to shoot one in it to see the difference. He put right at 220 in the 10" at 40 with the 3" 4x5x7's and the factory choke.
That said, this year he is running a Jellyhead and 3.5" 2x5x7's and running around 280-290.
