Turned this one this morning as a learning project for making my own crow call guts. I would have liked to have gone with a little darker wood for the barrel of the call to make the Yellow Heart mouth piece stand out a little more but the Maple barrel doesn't look too bad!! Turned out to be a pretty good sounding crow call for my first attempt.

Good job, very clean looking call ! If you don't mind me asking what finish do you have on it ?
I put 4 coats of thin CA on the call body and wasn't going for a real shinny finish as this was more of a test project. I plan to pull the guts apart and put a food grade salad bowl finish on the guts to help with the moisture from the saliva and seal the guts somewhat.
