Post by: Hardtime_NC on March 04, 2011, 08:54:21 PM
I understand that you can't legally ship ammo via USPS so what are other options?

Thanks

Call UPS they will tell you how to do it

You need to get an ORM-D label on your ammo before you ship it. It is fairly pricey to ship ammo. I shipped just 6 shells to a buddy of mine, and it was 15.00. You have to ship ground through one of the major carriers (UPS, FED EX., etc.)

Just got two boxes of Federal Turkey Loads from Cabelas, shipping was $8.95 via UPS. Seemed to be about what normal shipping would be, and yes it had the ORM-D on the box.

I ship frequently through UPS.

You must write [ORM-D] "cartridges, small arms"  on the box and ship ground.
