Went and did a little scouting today. The turkeys weren't real vocal but I did hear a few gobbles and several flydowns.

Scouting is a loose term.  Easier than writing " Going to where there are hundreds of birds roosted, and watching them for a while."

WOW Joe !! That tree looked a little less bare after what looked like over a 100 turkeys flew out of it.  Good luck this spring !
