I have been too busy turning calls so I decided to switch it up a couple of weeks ago. I have had a lady that has been wanting something with turquoise for the last couple years so I knew this one would be perfect for her. It was finished this morning and sent to a new home this afternoon. The bowl is spalted maple burl with some turquoise inlay and is about 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide with a natural edge. Hope you enjoy. Ryan

I like that. I've always liked Turquoise, esprcially in Jewelry.
That burl and turquoise look awful familiar. It's still one of the sharpest pots i've got. :icon_thumright:
Very impressive! :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Beautiful bowl.
Awesome looking there
Very nice, good job.
Thanks for the great comments guys. I really like doing the turquoise, but it takes a certain piece to use it on. I think this one turned out good though, it really sets that wood off. Thanks
Ryan
Very Nice Indeed!!!
Ever make a pot call with turquoise inlay?

I've made quite a few of them. Here is an example.

That's a beautiful bowl. I'd be proud to display that one myself. You did a great job on that one. It's almost sad though to think about how many turkeys could have died from the pots that could have come out of such a good looking chunk.
Knarly!
Very nice :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Don't worry about that I have about 500 pounds of this burl left over. :you_rock:

I told you that looked familiar. That is one of the finest calls I own, everybody that sees it stops for an extra look. Glad you still got a ton of that burl Ryan, all this talkin' makes me want some more.
