Title: Got a steal on a new one !
Post by: BowBendr on February 07, 2013, 10:44:43 PM
Went to the pawn shop yesterday, just looking....I always have my eyes open for something....
Walked out with a brand new, in the box, never fired Benelli Nova. The dude threw in 2 boxes of OO buck to sweeten the deal.

Wanna' guess how much ? ...................$200 out the door !!
BTW, the dude was begging me to buy more. Wanted to do a bigger package deal. Said he'd been handing out so much cash on pawns that he had to start selling something quick. I got lucky

I'm a 835 man myself, but i'm pumped about this purchase.
I have a ton of Hevi 3.5" #6's but I need a choke. I see on here that everyone has their favorites, what's yours ?

thats a good deal !!  CONGRATS !!!  :z-guntootsmiley:

I have a nova as a back up gun ,  it performs so well , and points much better than most other turkey guns I own - it also shoots DEAD ON

Good deal.  I use to own a Nova, but I liked it more as a Duck Gun.  Pay attention to the forearm.  Those things can rattle like bucks in rut on some Novas.  Good price though.

I have a Supernova and I love it!  Dad has the same setup as me.  We both have jellyhead chokes.  His gun likes H13 #7   mine likes Nitro 4x5x7   Both have a Nikon turkey reticle on ours.  They are deadly.     I found a solution to the rattle noise in the front of the gun.  I think someone had posted it on here and I searched for it but all you need is some adhesive velcro and it totally takes the noise out of it.
