Title: Mad Max Blind
Post by: WVhuntEER on February 06, 2013, 04:48:39 PM
I just got this blind which doubles as a gun rest to try this year.  I think it is a winner.   It is easy to fold up if you need to get up in a hurry.   Anyone else try it?

Let us know how it works. I was thinking of getting one as well.

When I saw it advertised I was like, light bulb!!!! This will be perfect for my youth hunters I take out.

2 things kids struggle with is keeping still and holding steady. But I hate using full sized blinds.

How small is it folded up? Will it fit in the back of a vest or inside a backpack.

It folds up quick but it is a little too long for your vest. I have a bag from usahuntgear for my gobbler lounger that would fit it perfectly. The thing I like about it though is the simplicity.  It literally takes no time at all to set it up and it doesn't weigh anything.   If you don't want to pull out the top part of the blind to the maximum height you can just use it as a gun rest.

This blind has really perked my interest may have to pick one up to give it a try...from the pics in catalogs I do wonder how easy it would be to move left or right

I thought the exact same thing about the left and right movement.  You can push the "X" part of the blind down so it easier to move your gun if you have to. It still provides concealment in the front.   That is probaby how I will use it.

Hey,  I just ordered one of your strikers!  Diamondwood camo.   I can't wait to try it!  Next, I want a pot call!
