Looking at rob robertsons turkey choke for 12 ga benelli supernova. What choke constriction would be the best for Win HV 3 1/2 2oz. 5's? They have the drop down box with soooo many to choose from. Im so confused....Also thinking of buying the Truglo Gobble Stopper scope to go along with the setup.
If anyone has found a better choke combo, that would be helpful also. Just figured since roberston does the performance shop with benelli, this should be on of the best.
Call them, just got my Beretta back from them.Let em what shell and they will tell you what choke they have found to work best. My chokes appear to be good quality and have a cool bronze color.
So far I'm pleased with my Indian Creek .665 on my SuperNova...My dad has a hevishot choke on his and that one patterns very nicely as well. In fact I was looking for one when I went to Bass Pro, but since they didn't have it in stock I went with the IC and I'm pretty pleased. Just two other options for you. I know some don't care for the hevishot chokes (I'm not sure why), but his shoots 3" #6 2oz hevi-13 in a really nice pattern.
my gun is a Winchester Super X2...Roberts sent me a .660 choke and Hevi 13 #6 in 3 1/2 put 218 in 10" at 40 yards. I know that's not specific to your SBE but I would concur with a previous poster who said best move is to call them. They were very good to me, will steer you the right direction. :camohat:

I shoot a Heavy 13 .656 choke in my Benelli SBE shooting the Win HV 3 1/2 2 oz 5's It put a little over a hundred in 10'' circle at 40 yards. Shooting the extended range in #5's it put 161 in 10''
I called them and they said to shoot a 655 along with my hevishot 5,6,7 3 inch 2oz. loads. Ordering the choke soon. Can't wait to see the results.
I was finally able to shoot different shells with this setup-minus the scope- and the federal turkey thug 3" #6's work phenomenally. I will try to post pictures soon.
