Title: Birds are startin to gobble

I saw some birds here at work this morning, hens I believe, bout 300 yards away in a field. I had my mouth call with me and started yelping and mixin in some cuttin and heard a some toms fire off on the ridge next to me. I got them to gobble bout 5 or 6 times. I was gettin excited, can't wait for April 2 to get here. I did see 5 longbeards about 30 minutes later right next to were we are workin.  :wav: :wav:

 Great!! Makes your heart race, don't it! The birds here have been gobbling hard for about two weeks (which is about two weeks early), hope they don't have sore throats when the season starts :gobble: :gobble: :gobble:

I "know" they're gobbling down here but we didn't hear any on Wed.   Look's like there's a chance we'll be going tomorrow.  Maybe we'll hear something.    :gobble: :gobble: :gobble:

No, I grabbed the wrong one out of my lunch box. I was in a hurry and just grabbed one. I have to work this weekend so maybe I can get back out there with one of Dans. I bought two more from him last night, the matriarch and jj special. Can't wait to get them. Hurry up Dan.  :whip2:

That's cool Dustin, that always gets you pumped, saw a flock of gobblers today with about 10 longbeards, just happened to have a Down and Dirty mouth call and was running it but they just watched me, it's still a little early here for them to do much plus their still flocked up pretty tight.

They are still a couple weeks from gobbling real good but they will gobble if enticed.  :icon_thumright:

I seen a group of about 15 to 20 birds today, several jakes and the rest longbeards. They should be about ready to start  breaking up here in a couple of weeks. Come on April 2.  :z-guntootsmiley: Hearing Dan talk about goin, is gettin me pumped up. :wav: :wav: :wav: :wav: :wav: :wav: :wav:
