Post by: stilker on January 28, 2013, 05:42:28 PM
For Rem 870 shooting 3" magnum blend.

Which constriction yall think? JellyHead .660 or .665

Or stick with gobbling thunder .665 that I already have

Thanks

I've set up several 870's with the .660 Jellyhead with excellent results. Thats what I'm shooting my Nitro's with now.
You can find a new or used one for a good price, try it, and if it's not for you, sell it for a break even price.

Gman

I use the Indian Creek on my 870. I will never use anything else. Last May 16th in South Dakota, I took a Tom at 35-40 yards with 3" Hevi Shot Magnum Blend through the Indian Creek tube. It just about decapitated the bird. Glad I wasnt going to mount him, becasue the head was FUBAR.

The IC is what I believe is the best. Honestly, you need to use one that you believe is the best.

Good hunting

Get a Sumtoy.  Best killing paterns I ever got.  The patern was tight and even, not full of holes or a "hot" center but a truly even patern at 40 yards.  As far as # I get 110-120 in 10" at 40 with lead out of the 870.
