Title: Remington Star Dot
Post by: woodchip on March 03, 2011, 09:39:46 PM
Does anyone know what the constriction is on the Remington Star Dot chokes?  I've lost my calipers and can't remember what they measured.

Do these chokes perform well from 870s?

Mine didn't do as well as some of the big name chokes you see on here, but it put 218 in a 10" at 40 yds.  More than enough to kill a turkey, and that was with Hevi Shot 3.5  2.25oz #7s.  But it was much better than my JellyHead .660 it only put 165 in 10" at 40 with the same load.  I'd still like to try a PG .670, maybe next year!
