I was at the salem gun show this weekn and picked up this box of Fedaral 7 1/2 shot turkey ammo. i've been buying a lot of ammo in the last 25 years but never seen this one.
I have shot the old school fedaral ammo but this is the 1st box i ever seen in 7 1/2 copper shot and im not going to shoot it up but going to put it up for a talk about.
any info on this ammo in 7 1/2 shot and have you ever seen a box of the Fedaral in 7 1/2 shot ???

Humm, have never seen that in 7.5 shot. Did you e-mail Fed and ask about the production year ??
Yep,used to use them years ago.
I have a friend who's been in the sporting good business for many years. He used to have a syndicated hunting show as well. That was his favorite load for many years until the tungsten-based shells were introduced.

Those are very rare -- Federal made those years ago , a good # of Florida turkey hunters swore by #7's including Lovett Williams -
Call me crazy I think we are talking 1987-88 timeframe , I recall Federal having a triplex load to compete with Remingtons duplex , cant recall much more about it
