I stumbled upon this on TV last night. It's a documentary based on the book Illumination in the Flatwoods by Joe Hutto. He raises a flock of turkeys from the egg and gives a great look at how turkeys grow up. It's 50 minutes long and very well done.

I bought the book (Illumination In The Flatwoods), about 6 months ago. It is a great read.. Mr. Tom Parker says in his book "The Season", that "if you don't have this book, buy it. If you don't have the money to buy it, steal it"!! It is that good..

I have to agree. "Illumination in the Flatwoods" is a book that in my opinion every turkey hunter will love and should read.
I went out and bought the book. Looking forward to reading it.
