Careful....as a turkey hunter this is very painful to watch, but a good reminder of what can happen when you don't keep your head down. Good luck to everyone this season!

Great video, thanks for shareing it
Oh my, that brings back bad memories. I did that one morning and it was the last time. I'm old now. I put a scope on top of the Benelli. Works great, I hope to never do that again.
Just watching that in the dead of winter when the tempature is 26 makes my heart rate go from 80 rpm to about 20000000 rpms as soon as I heard that first gobble. As soon as I saw that big blue head, I had to keep telling myself to take a breath, and I'm just watch the video.
MAN can't wait for spring
My first bird I missed was worse then that, and it still makes me laugh now, but boy was I pissed at the time. Great video, I thought I was the only one that misses.
Oh man that will give me nightmares up until turkey season.
Very hard to watch.
Looked like a clean miss , so its another day for both the shooter and the gobbler :fud: :OGani:
:fud: :OGani:
That was nice footage of some gobblers!
That got my heart rate up
The fans on those two looked huge when they strutted out in that field.
Great footage!
Got my heart beating a bit there too.
Dang shame it didn't end with flopping. :blob10:
Good footage, and thats why I have a scope. Its funny after you have kicked your own but until its sore :goofball:
Great footage, super birds. That was painful.
Thanks I might have been with them on that hunt :'(
Wow, that makes you sick in the stomach! It's happened to me one too many times. Great footage though...
Yep, if that hasn't happened to you, it just means you haven't turkey hunted very long! I went to a red dot several years ago, but, guess what, it is still possible to miss. I did so last spring. Missed a bird in the wide open at about 20 yards. I got in too big a hurry and jerked the trigger. It wasn't all bad, though, because I got to hunt another 9 days or so before filling my second tag the next to last day of the season. :)
Don't ya hate it when that happens
Makes me want to go in the Morning !!!! Also makes me want to really concentrate on the little red dot and the White Head !!! Great video thanks for posting it .
Nice video!!! Thanks for sharing. Experienced that first hand more than I would like to admit. Missed two on two different set ups within a couple hours of each other one morning.
Yep, it's happened to me a couple of times. That's why I bought a FFII.
Yup. That hurts. Happened to me too many times!
Tell us how many JK, I can think of a few! Haha.
Man, that'll make you sick.... Awesome video though!
Yep a red dot will prevent that from happening. You may still miss but it won't be because you raised your head.
Been there done that!
As Forrest would say "it happens".

So very very true!!
Been there done that ONCE! I missed at 8 yards and then again at 20 or so and then twice more when he flew off.
I will probably miss again but I remember that miss every time I have a tom coming in and it helps me to go through the solid cheek weld, bead on waddles, and squeeze gently routine.
