Any Snakewood strikers available? I am very interested. Send a pm or post
I may have a few done up. I'll check. You like a heavy or lighter striker?
Either would be fine! The ones I have are dogwood and a cherry topped. Love how they sound and would love another
I'm interested also BUT what would they play better on what service ? ? ?
OK here's the three that I have left in snakewood. These are turned from a solid snakewood blank and have nice color. Snakewood will play on any surface but for me it's best on slate and glass. Snakewood is not cheap so the cost is 36.50 shipped. They alll run real well on calls and that includes the smaller one which I really like. Pm sent
I have used Snakewood in the past for strikers, but found it to be too expensive for me to bother with. They did make some sweet strikers though and if you can get your hands on one, you had best do that, cause this stuff is getting more and more difficult to get.
Those are fine Bill. I love my Snakewood striker you made me. And all the others.

Thanx Rickey. You got a one of kind in that Lilac striker that I sent last month.
Bill,
Not many Lilac strikers out there for sure. I need to add it, the black & white ebony, and persimmon strikers you made me to the group picture. Needless to say I sure like your work.
A guy I work with was cutting down a Lilac bush and I told him to save me a couple of chunks. I'm glad I did as it was real nice to turn and looked real nice finished. Now if that grape vine would dry out so I can turn it. ;)
