Took about a 3 hr drive yesterday to one of my favorite Native Trout Streams.
6" of snow already on the ground made for some rough walking in the mountains. Caught about 20 trout. I kept these 4 for supper tonight.

  Thanks for lookin !

Beautiful Brook Trout and I LOVE the PIC of the fish in the snow along with the Old School creel.  I'm a transplanted Virginian living in NC and MISS trout fishing the South Fork of the Holston river.

That is awesome!  We only have yearly stocked areas with rainbow around here.  Have not fished for trout in quite a while.  Cool pictures, thanks for sharing...

Wess. I am beginning to think that Ricky caught them years ago, and had them mounted.. Then every 6 months or so, he lays 'em out and snaps a new picture..Could he be that devious?? :TooFunny: :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
Ricky.. I'm going to start tellin' people that I know you!! :toothy12:

This past May was a great day and even better meal.  Glad you were able get out and fish!
