Yesterday was the last Saturday of the season. It has been a snowy/wintery/cold weekend with temps in the low 20s and below first thing in the morning, but as long as the season is open it doesn't matter what the weather is like, we hunt ducks...period! The mallards worked the decoys nice and it didn't take long before we had limits of greenheads in hand. Snowy trucks, frozen calls and happy dogs.
My ol'champ Gunner; doing what he loves best...hunting/retrieving birds.

Nice pic. Good lookin dog. :icon_thumright:
Yeah boy.
Nice work. Duck hunting is my first love. With the drought my harvest is down 95% this year. Totally sucks but when you are in a dust bowl kind of drought whats a guy to do?
Beautiful picture. That should be framed and on the wall.
Greg
