Title: Any experience with these shells?
Post by: BOSS HOGG LOU on December 22, 2012, 02:06:54 PM
At a local establishment, they have these PMC 3" Turkey loads for $3.99 a box (5 shells). Pics of the box and the stats are posted. Should I buy a few boxes? Or are these turd loads?

At that price they are worth the try. A 3-2-6 load is generally going to get you a suitable pattern.
I'd get a box and return soon to get em all if they work for you.

I would have to try some and see what they do for that price

My INV+ BPS and Indian Creek .665 BDS SS love those PMC 2 ounce plated #6's.

I'd like to buy or trade for some.

I bought some 5 shell packs of the plated #6's last year, and some 10 shell packs of unplated #6's, and unplated #4's.  They have very low recoil for a 2 ounce load.......like shooting 2.75" high brass.
