Here is a call I just finished for my friend Calen . Back in October I took Calen out on his first fall turkey hunt . As we were walking back in the field after lunch , we ran across a broken tobacco stake and I told Calen I would make him a call from it if he harvested a turkey that day . I think he thought I was kidding but after a very successful hunt where we both took nice birds , I grabbed the stake and put it in my car . Turned out to be a piece of chestnut and here is the end result . I left it rustic to remind him of what I used to make it . I hope this will help make it a hunt he won't forget ! Thanks for looking !
Bob

Thats one great way to remember a hunt :icon_thumright:
Love the look of it. Great way to remember a hunt.
This call looks great. Bob, you should post a pic of the stake before you started - if you have one. Beautiful!
I listened to this caller and like all of his scratch boxes, this call jumped right out of the woods with plenty of turkey stuffed in.
