Title: I hate when this happens.
Post by: captin_hook on December 07, 2012, 08:07:06 PM
Found this guy yesterday. He was shot high in the guts . He looked like he's been dead about a week. We knew this buck was around where we hunt, and I'm assuming he was shot on a connecting property to the property I've been hunting. What a shame.

Yep, would have been nice to watch him grow up.

Yep,

It's difficult sometimes with small tracks of land.

I'm sure the hunter who lost him is feeling as bad as you are about the situation.

Nothing like a sick feeling of having a shot deer cross the property line, and knowing you can't trail him.

God Bless,
David B.

That is why you need to practice shooting. Nothing worse than seeing a loss of a good deer due to a bad shot.
