I just purchased a Browning Silver w/26" barrel and want to set it up for turkey hunting using the 3.5" MagBlends. Anyone using this combo or have recommendations on brand and choke size?? :OGturkeyhead:

Hey Keith,
First of all, congratulations. That's a great gun and the 26" barrel should give you great patterns. A lot of hunters are having great results with the Hevi-13 Turkey Choke with the Magnum Blend shells (3" & 3.5") through that gun and others with the Invector+ barrel.
It's a very well made choke and has developed quite a following in the last couple of years. It's also reasonably priced for a high quality turkey choke.
Thanks,
Clark
IC BDS .665 and Hevi 7's
The primos jellyhead has given me great patterns out of my Browning gold.
I have a SX3 that is basicly the same gun. I am shooting 3" MagBlends with a Kicks .670 choke. I'm getting 253 hits average. It's almost to tight for the terrain I hunt. I am going to try a .675 or .680. The .670 contains the whole load in a 20" circle.
pure gold 675 and mag blends works in my polished barreled gun it is 26 incjes long.
Another vote for the PG 675.
That gun will like 675 to 680. It will also like the Fed FCW

William, what choke would you recommend in that gun for the Federal FCW #7's??

William, which choke do you recommend for shooting the Federal HW #7's thru this Browning Silver??
I'm shooting in the high 290's with a .665 IC and hevi 7's
