I am thinking about trying to hunt turkeys over spring break, week of Mar 18th. My wife and I have been coming to Gulfport/longbeach area for the past couple of years but mainly for the beach. I understand that this is not the best part of the state but since I am in the area anyway I thought I would give it a go.
Can any one tell me what to expect as far as pressure on Desoto Natl' forrest? What about some of the WMA's? I am not looking for honey holes just an idea/starting point. Public is all I hunt in Kansas.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
